Ronald Samuel Bogan, affectionately known as "Boomy" to his friends and loved ones, peacefully received his wings on September 17, 2026, at OSU East Hospital ICU. Born on May 4, 1955, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Ronald's life was a testament to joy, humor, and an enduring love for his family, friends, and his many passions. Ronald was the beloved son of Loretta Bogan Dudley Curtis. He was welcomed into the Heavenly family by his grandparents, Mildred Johns and Monroe Bogan, and is now reunited with them, his stepfather Wayne Curtis, and his brother Joseph T. Dudley. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his mother, Loretta Curtis, his devoted daughter, Tasha Lynn Jennings, and his adored grandson, Elijah Jennings. His sister, Mildred (Richard) Johnson, nephew Johron Johnson, and a host of first cousins, including Ralph Littleberry, Mildred (Prichard) Brown, Newton Burris, Mildred Bogan, very special cousin and road dog Dante' Littleberry will forever hold him in their hearts. Ronald was blessed with enduring friendships, among them David Sawyer, Derek McKean, and Larry Davis, who stood by him through life's many adventures. A proud graduate of Linden McKinley High School and the Ohio State School of Cosmetology, Ronald pursued his passion for hairstyling at Detiffanise Beauty Salon. His talents extended beyond cosmetology as he indulged in construction work, a field he loved deeply for its creativity and craftsmanship. Ronald's faith journey began early in life, where he actively participated in the choir and various youth activities. He was Baptisted Later in life at New Salem Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both trials and triumphs. As he continued on his journey he was found visiting his New church home with his friends Denia (DJ) and her mom at Trinity Baptist Church "Boom," as he was affectionately called, was known for his infectious humor and zest for life. Whether casting his fishing line into the water or cheering passionately for his favorite football team, the Browns, Ronald embraced every moment with enthusiasm. A lover of sports and adventure, he never shied away from trying daring activities like horseback riding and skiing. Ronald's vibrant spirit and ability to light up a room with his laughter made him the life of every gathering. His jokes and playful demeanor will be remembered by all who knew him. In his memory, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting Ronald's generous spirit and desire to make a positive impact on the world.
