June 24, 1953 — May 6, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Philip Mole, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, on May 6, 2026 in Michigan. Ronald, known to many as Ron, was born on June 24, 1953, in the close-knit community of Wiarton, Ontario, Canada. He was a beloved son to Edward (Irene) Mole and Jean (McInnis) Campbell, and step-son to William Campbell. Ron’s life was a testament to the simple joys of family, craftsmanship, and the great outdoors. A graduate of West Hill Secondary School, Ron found his calling as a wood model maker, a career that allowed him to blend creativity with precision. His handiwork was admired by all who had the pleasure to witness it. A man of quiet strength and an easy-going nature, Ron was most at home in the company of his family. He shared an unbreakable bond with his children Amanda Mole and Aaron (Dawn) Mole, who survive him, along with his dear siblings Bonnie (Martin Pepin) Campbell, Linda (Peter) Krahl, Mike Campbell, Waverlee, Brian, Terry, and Shane Mole. Ron’s heart swelled with pride for his five grandchildren, Damian (McKenzie), Alexis, Kelly, Hannah, and William, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He will also be missed by dear family Cheryl (Keith) Bosse. As well as nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his stepfather, William Campbell, and sister-in-law, Cindy King, whose memories he cherished deeply. Throughout his life, Ron found contentment in the simple pleasures: spending time with his grandchildren, exploring the natural beauty of Canada, and escaping into the magic of family vacations, with Disney World holding a special place in his heart. He shared a particularly meaningful project with his son Aaron, working meticulously on model boats that became a symbol of their shared passions and enduring connection. A service to honor Ron’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the remarkable journey of a man whose life was well-lived and deeply loved.
