Ronald Peltin

Ronald Peltin passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 13, 1946, in Michigan, Ronald was the cherished son of John and Marie Peltin, who predeceased him. Ronald’s career was spent as a self-employed accountant and tax preparer at Universal Tax Consultants. He is survived by his devoted wife Kathy, their two children Lesley (Jared) Boles and Kayla (Amy Chartier) Peltin, along with Ron’s children Deborah Ruvolo and Brian (Amy) Peltin and their mother, Claudia Garland. Ronald was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Savannah Ruvolo, Gauge ????, Allison and Tanner Peltin, Grayson and Kyle Boles, Brahm and Grant Chartier, and a foster granddaughter, as well as the late Hailie Ruvolo, who predeceased him. He is also survived by siblings Jack Peltin, Bill (Pamela) Peltin, and Susan Peltin. A funeral mass will be held on October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, located at 1820 9th Ave. N. in Escanaba. A luncheon will follow. Burial will occur at Holy Cross Cemetary.
