It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Ronald Neal Dellinger, who departed this life peacefully at home on May 9, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on February 28, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia, Ronald was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for his quick wit and ability to bring joy to those around him. Ronald was the beloved son of William Dellinger and Barbara Malcolm, who nurtured his compassionate spirit and instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication. He carried these values throughout his life and career, spending his days as a contractor and laborer in construction, landscaping, and home remodeling. Ronald was a man of many skills and trades, always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and community members, and finding fulfillment in the service of others. A passionate and skilled player, Ronald was an active member of the Marietta American Pool Association, where he not only showcased his exceptional talent but also won several titles and awards. His love for the game was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. An avid hunter, Ronald rarely missed the opening day of deer season, cherishing the time spent in nature. His interests were as diverse as his talents, including playing pool, riding with his cherished pup, Harley, and traveling to new places. Ronald was a voracious reader and a practical joker, never missing an opportunity to bring laughter to those around him. His infectious smile and hearty laugh made everyone he met feel welcome and valued. Ronald leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply. Though predeceased by his children Jana Leon (Ray), Jennifer Dellinger, and Ronald Dellinger Jr. (Laura), as well as his siblings Arnold Dellinger (Brenda), Tammy Esco (Terry), Sheila McPherson (Joe), Malcolm Dellinger (Stacy), and Cecilia Green (John), he is survived by his extended family, including his nine grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to all those who enriched Ronald’s life with love, compassion, and friendship. They invite you to join them in celebrating Ronald’s life at a service to be held at 10:00 AM on May 11, 2026, at Carmichael Funeral Home, located at 1130 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064. In honor of Ronald’s memory, the family encourages everyone to carry forward his legacy of kindness and laughter, remembering the joy he brought into the lives of everyone he touched. Ronald will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
