Rensselaer, NY — With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Ronald M. Radley on May 16, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 7, 1946, in Rensselaer, New York, Ronald was a cherished soul whose life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Arlene, whom he married on May 1, 1971. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Tammy Andrews, Ronald Radley, and James Radley, who will carry forward his legacy of love and strength. A man of remarkable determination and unwavering strength, Ronald spent his career as a truck driver, a profession that not only supported his family but also defined his hardworking spirit. His dedication to his work was surpassed only by his love for his family and his passions outside of work, which included bowling, watching football, and following NASCAR. These activities brought him immense joy and countless memories with family and friends. Ronald's family was his pride and joy, and his legacy is beautifully reflected in his surviving children and their families: Tammy and her husband Kevin Andrews; Ronald and his wife Frances Radley; and James and his wife Amy Radley. Ronald's life will be celebrated on May 19, 2026, with a service that honors his journey and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and invites friends and family to join in a celebration of Ronald's life at a later date, where stories and memories can be shared in honor of the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ronald's name to a charity close to your heart, reflecting the kindness and generosity that he showed throughout his life.
