Ronald was the beloved son of Harold and Donna Ames, who preceded him in death. He grew up in a home filled with love and warmth, values that he carried forward into his own family life. After graduating high school, Ronald married his high school sweetheart, Bonny Berkstresser, embarking on a lifelong journey of love and devotion. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, and together they built a family that became the center of Ronald’s universe. A dedicated family man, Ronald was a proud father to his son, Devin, and daughter, Brianne. His love for them was boundless, and he found immense joy in watching them grow and thrive. As a grandfather, Ronald cherished every moment with his granddaughters, Alexa and Adeline, whose laughter brought light into his life. Ronald's brother, Richard Ames, and his wife, Deborah, were not only family but friends, sharing countless memories and moments over the years. Ronald's presence in their lives was a constant reminder of the importance of family and loyalty. Ronald was known for his unwavering generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether it was family, friends, or strangers, he was always ready and willing to offer support and comfort without hesitation. As his family fondly recalls, "Ron was the type of person if you needed help, he was there for you. He rarely complained and was always there for his family, his friends, and strangers." In keeping with Ronald's wishes, a private funeral service will be held to honor his life and legacy. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Ronald's memory, celebrating his life by continuing his legacy of kindness and compassion. Ronald Lee Ames will be remembered for his enduring love, compassion, and selflessness. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
