Ronald Joseph Recore Jr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep respect that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Recore Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Ron departed this world on April 11, 2026, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle fought with unwavering strength and determination. He was surrounded by the love of his family at the VA hospital where he spent his final moments, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and love.
Ron was born on October 15, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to his devoted parents, Mary Recore and Ronald Recore Sr. Raised with care and compassion, he was shaped by the love of his mother Mary(stepfather Richard Haas) and father Ronald(stepmother Sue Recore). He is now reunited with them, along with his cherished granddaughter, Samantha Recore, who predeceased him.
In 1982, Ron married the love of his life, Frenchy Recore. Their union, a testament to true partnership and devotion, spanned 44 beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and adventure, raising three wonderful children, Ron, Joe, and Krystal. Their love story was one of mutual respect and unwavering support, a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who knew them.
Ron proudly served his country as a combat engineer in the U.S. Army, where he cultivated a spirit of service and tenacity that he carried with him throughout his life. After his military service, Ron dedicated his career to the Ethan Allen Boys Home as a Facility Repair Worker. Known for his remarkable skill, Ron could fix anything and was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying the spirit of generosity and kindness.
A man of the great outdoors, Ron found joy in hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. His happiest moments were spent in nature, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted grandfather to his seven grandchildren—Ronnie, Madison, Ashton, Sienna, Carson, and Kensington—each of whom he cherished deeply. His family was his greatest treasure, and he delighted in every moment spent with them.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Frenchy; his children, Ron (Brenda), Joe (Kristin), and Krystal (Travis); his grandchildren; and his siblings, Joe Recore, Cindy Recore, and Pam Brazeau. Each of them carries a piece of Ron in their hearts, a testament to his enduring impact and love.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held on May 16, 2026, at the American Legion, located at 300 Beichl Ave., Beaver Dam, WI 53916. Family and friends are invited to gather in memory of a remarkable man who lived life with passion and purpose.
Ronald Joseph Recore Jr. will be remembered as a man of integrity, courage, and love. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. As we say goodbye, let us honor his memory by embracing life with the same vigor and love that he did. Rest in peace, dear Ron, knowing you were truly loved and will be profoundly missed.
