Ronald “Honey” Allen Turner

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Ronald “Honey” Allen Turner, who departed this life peacefully on July 5, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on September 17, 1952, in the welcoming embrace of Murfreesboro, TN, Ronald was the beloved son of James and Rose Turner. Ronald was a devoted husband to his cherished wife, Mary Turner, with whom he built a life filled with love and laughter. He was a proud father to his children, Tim Turner and Maggie Turner, and his stepson, Robert Wilson. His legacy lives on in his 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, all of whom he adored deeply. Having graduated from Murfreesboro High School, Ronald found his calling as an engineer with Ford, where he dedicated many years of service, contributing to the innovation and success of the company. His meticulous work ethic and problem-solving skills were admired by colleagues and friends alike. A man of deep faith, Ronald was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN. His commitment to his church community was unwavering, and he found immense joy in his fellowship with others. Ronald’s love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing, a hobby he shared with his family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. His garden was a testament to his love for nature, where he found peace and contentment. Ronald is predeceased by his brother, Frank Turner, and his sister, Mary Turner, whom he held dear in his heart. While the loss of his presence will be profoundly felt, we find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his loved ones who went before him. A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, located at 738 E Castle St. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Ronald are invited to attend and honor the wonderful man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Ronald, to continue his legacy of kindness and generosity. Though the sorrow of his passing is deep, the warmth of his spirit and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him will forever remain in our hearts. Ronald “Honey” Allen Turner will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love and strength will live on.
