Ron was a devoted father to Ronnie Henderson, Yvette Henderson, Keith Henderson, Gary Henderson, and Christina (Semba) Allen. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren—Christina, Sean, Brooke, Randy, Makayla, Maya, Kayla, Diamyn, Domonique, Devion, Shavonna, Kendall, Keiana, Gary Jr, Brooklynn, Bailey, and Brendan—and his beloved great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Throughout his career, Ron worked diligently in the printing business, a testament to his commitment and work ethic. He was a man of many talents and passions. Known for his skill in the kitchen, Ron's cooking brought warmth and satisfaction to family gatherings. He also possessed a green thumb, nurturing plants that flourished under his care. An avid bowler, Ron participated in leagues and competitions, where he shared camaraderie and friendly competition with fellow enthusiasts.
Ron was renowned for his wit and wisdom, often sharing sayings that ranged from humorous to profound. One of his favorite expressions was "Life is real," a testament to his straightforward and authentic approach to life's challenges and joys. His faith was an important part of his life, providing guidance and solace, especially when he was able to attend church.
A service to honor Ron's life will be held on October 7, 2026, at Indiana Funeral Care East, located at 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Ron are invited to celebrate his memory.
