In Loving Memory

Ronald Germain
February 12, 1989 — May 16, 2026
In loving memory of Ronald Germain, a cherished soul who graced this world with his gentle presence and unyielding spirit, we announce his passing on May 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 12, 1989, in the vibrant and resilient land of Haiti, Ronald's life was a testament to the beauty of perseverance, love, and family.
Ronald was the beloved son of Deslange Germain and Bertha Romelus, who instilled in him the values of kindness and strength that he carried throughout his life. He was predeceased by his dear family members George Germain, Richardson Pierre, and Lauren Germain, whose memories he cherished and honored in his daily life.
Ronald's journey through life was enriched by the love of his partner and later wife, Laura Silvien. Their union was a testament to true companionship, celebrating their marriage on October 6, 2021, in the picturesque town of Jeremie. Together, they shared 12 wonderful years filled with laughter, support, and an unbreakable bond.
He is survived by his siblings, Nephtanael Germain, Preston Germain, Fighterly Germain, and Christley Germain, who stood by him with unwavering support and love. Ronald's legacy continues through the lives he touched, including one cherished grandchild who will carry forward his gentle spirit and enduring love.
A devoted family man, Ronald's life was one of quiet strength and profound impact. His days were filled with moments of joy, laughter, and the simple pleasures of life. He leaves behind a family that will forever hold his memory dear and strive to embody the values he lived by.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ronald's life and spirit at a memorial service to be held on May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at L’Église Baptiste de Pétion-Ville. It will be a time to honor the memory of a man who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Though his time with us was cut short, Ronald's impact on those who knew him was profound and lasting. We find comfort in knowing his battle with illness has ended, and he now rests in peace. His legacy will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ronald's name to cancer research, in hopes of paving the way for discoveries that will ease the suffering of others facing similar battles.
May Ronald Germain's soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a guiding light for all who loved him.
