August 25, 1953 — March 13, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Ronald F. Munday, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on March 13, 2026, at the Olean General Hospital. Born on August 25, 1953, in Olean, NY, Ron lived a life rich in kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. Ron was the beloved son of the late Jerold and Joyce Munday and was predeceased by his brothers Mark and Jerry, whose memories he held close to his heart. He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Rhonda Munday (Gross), who lovingly referred to him as "Rhonda baby." Together, they built a beautiful life and shared countless treasured moments. Ron was a proud father to his daughter and son, Brian Munday, and a loving stepfather to John (Leah) Lockwood. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren—Darci, Scott, Janelle, Holly, Krista, and Holly Lockwood—and several great-grandchildren, who brought boundless joy and light into his life. Ron spent his early years in Limestone, NY, where he attended Limestone High School. His professional journey led him to a distinguished career as a supervisor at Case Cutlery, before he dedicated over 35 years to Cutco Knife Factory in Olean, NY, from which he ultimately retired in 2019. His work ethic and commitment were admired by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Music was one of Ron's greatest passions. He was a talented musician, starting as a drummer before mastering the bass, rhythm, and lead guitar. His love for music was a shared bond with his stepson John, and together, they spent countless hours playing and recording music, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Ron was an ardent Buffalo Bills fan, cheering for his team with the same enthusiasm and loyalty he showed in all areas of his life. Those who knew him were often captivated by his quick wit and infectious humor. Ron had a unique ability to light up a room with laughter, often using his trademark phrases, and he touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and generous heart. In 1997, Ron and Rhonda began their journey together on Summer Street in Bradford, PA, where they raised their sons and reveled in the joy of being surrounded by their grandchildren. In 2009, they relocated to Duke Center, PA, where they continued to create a loving home filled with laughter and love. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on March 20, 2026, at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Home, located at 33 South Ave, Bradford, PA. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose loyalty, humor, and love for his family will forever remain in our hearts. Though Ronald F. Munday may have departed from this world, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched. We will forever hold dear the memories of his laughter, his music, and the boundless love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
