Ronald grew up surrounded by the love and guidance of his parents and alongside his siblings, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Mary Jane, his brother, Charles Raymond DeVaul, and several beloved aunts and uncles. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
In his youth, Ronald answered the call to serve his country with honor and dedication, enlisting in the United States Air Force. His service was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the values of duty, honor, and country. After completing his service, Ronald embarked on a fulfilling career at Murphy's Construction, where he made significant contributions until his retirement. His colleagues remember him as a hard-working, reliable, and skilled craftsman who took pride in his work.
Upon retiring, Ronald found joy in the simple pleasures of life, dedicating his time to his community and neighbors. Known for his generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, often fixing lawnmowers and offering assistance to those in need. His kindness and willingness to help others were hallmarks of his character, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Ronald's life was enriched by his family, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He leaves behind his beloved son, Ronald Edward DeVaul, and his daughter, Maryann Carney, who carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. He is also survived by his brother, Howard Raymond DeVaul, and his sister, Cynthia Ann Neilsen, whose support and companionship were a constant source of comfort to him. His loyal companions, his dog Jack and cat Buddy, were by his side, providing companionship and affection.
