Ronald Dale Boyce

January 8, 1933 — March 24, 2026

It is with heartfelt sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Ronald Dale Boyce, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. Ronald peacefully departed this life on March 24, 2026, at Lakeridge Health Center in Oshawa, at the age of 93. Born on January 8, 1933, in the quaint town of Odessa, Ontario, Ronald was the beloved son of Annie and Clark Boyce. His childhood was filled with laughter and adventures shared with his dear sisters, Amy Bracken and Elinor Boyce, who, along with his parents, predeceased him. Ronald's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and gentle humor. On September 10, 1955, he married the love of his life, Helen Margaret Boyce. Together, they crafted a beautiful life, raising three wonderful children. His beloved wife, Helen, and their children Wendy Nash, and Kent (Jane) Boyce, survive him and carry forward his legacy of warmth and kindness. Ronald's pride and joy were his family. He was blessed with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored fiercely. His quick wit never failed to bring a smile, and his covert pranks were a source of endless amusement for those around him. Ronald's spirit was one of joy and ingenuity; he was an avid builder, fixer, and designer, always eager to create something new or mend what was broken. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always full. A service to celebrate Ronald's remarkable life will be held on April 18, 2026, at Emmanuel United Church in Odessa. The family warmly invites all who knew Ronald to join them in remembering a life well-lived and a man well-loved. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization close to Ronald's heart. Wendy and Kent extend their deepest gratitude to the care angels at the Lakeridge Health Supportive Care ward, whose compassion and dedication provided comfort and peace to Ronald in his final days. As we say goodbye to Ronald, we hold close the memories of his laughter, his love, and his unwavering spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and creativity that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Ronald Dale Boyce. You will forever be missed, yet never forgotten.
