It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Johnson, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on May 20, 1974, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ron was a beacon of love, kindness, and resilience, whose presence lit up the lives of all who knew him. Ron was the cherished son of John and Judy Johnson, who instilled in him the values of hard work, compassion, and integrity. These values guided him throughout his life and career. After graduating from Job Corps with a degree in painting, Ron dedicated many years to maintaining the business districts, where he was known not only for his skill and dedication but also for his warm smile and generous spirit. In the latter part of his career, Ron found his true calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where his innate empathy and gentle demeanor brought comfort and dignity to those in their most vulnerable moments. His colleagues and patients alike remember him as a man of immense patience and kindness, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. Ron’s love for his family was boundless, and his greatest joy was his role as a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kristin Johnson, whose companionship was his greatest treasure, and their three wonderful children, Victoria, Andrew, and Derrick Johnson, who were his pride and joy. His legacy of love and kindness lives on through them, as they carry forward his spirit in their own lives. In addition to his immediate family, Ron is survived by his dear siblings, Cindy Kahler, Renee Johnson, Lori Cave, and Christine Johnson. Each of them shared a unique and cherished bond with Ron, filled with countless memories of laughter, support, and love. His extended family and friends will forever remember his gentle nature, his unwavering support, and his infectious laughter that could light up even the darkest of days. Ron’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of living each day with love and gratitude. Although his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on those around him was immeasurable. His memory will continue to inspire and guide all who had the privilege to know him.
