May 12, 1943 — February 18, 2026
It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Rollin Earl Beasley, who departed this world on February 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, on May 12, 1943, Rollin was the beloved son of Scott Beasley and Artie Thompson Beasley, who predeceased him, along with his five siblings: Carroll Beasley, James Beasley, Sterling Beasley, Oley Beasley, and Edna Witt.
Rollin spent his formative years in Charleston, where he cultivated the values of hard work, resilience, and integrity—qualities that would define his life. He served his nation with honor in the United States Army, spending time stationed in the picturesque landscapes of Italy, an experience that deeply enriched his worldview.
Upon returning to civilian life, Rollin embarked on a career as a machinist in the construction industry. His dedication and craftsmanship earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. He was known not only for his skill but also for his unwavering work ethic and the kindness he extended to everyone around him.
In his personal life, Rollin found immense joy and fulfillment in his family. He shared a remarkable life with his beloved wife, Ann Beasley, nurturing a loving, blended family that extended to stepchildren and step-grandchildren. Together, they raised three wonderful children—Rollin Beasley Jr., Randy Beasley, and Rhonda Dorch—each of whom carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and compassion. Rollin was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, who were the light of his life, bringing him endless joy and laughter.
Rollin's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing, both saltwater and freshwater. The tranquility of the waters mirrored the serenity he found in nature, and he cherished these moments spent in reflection and communion with the natural world. He also found simple happiness in playing bingo and took great pride in maintaining his lawn, often seen tinkering with his trusty lawnmower.
Though he has left this earthly realm, Rollin's spirit endures in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his gentle smile, his infectious laughter, and the warmth of his embrace.
In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Rollin's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rollin's name to The Gideons International, PO Box 3467, Rock Hill, SC 29732, an organization that was dear to his heart.
As we bid farewell to Rollin Earl Beasley, we celebrate the beautiful life he led and the indelible mark he left on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love and grace he bestowed upon us all.
