Rolanda was the beloved daughter of Andrew and Joan Roberts, who instilled in her the values of kindness and strength that she carried throughout her life. She was the devoted mother to four children: Yolanda Roberts, Lawrence Roberts, Crystal Coley, and Tara Roberts, each of whom carries forward her legacy of love and compassion. Her family was her world, and her heart was large enough to embrace her 15 cherished grandchildren: Mekhi Roberts, Aniyah Roberts, Khyrie Roberts, Ty Quan Coley, Hakeem Coley, Maiour Harris, Assata Roberts, Mecca Roberts, Medina Roberts, Hajj Pearson, Jasmine Roberts, Jamil Roberts, Jamaica Roberts, Markia Garner, and McKayla Roberts. Her legacy extends even further to her 15 great-grandchildren, who will continue to feel the warmth of her love through the stories and memories shared by their parents. Rolanda shared a deep, sisterly bond with her best friend, Cheryl Hopkins, and a cherished companionship with her special friend, Mr. Earl Artis. Together, they created many joyful memories filled with laughter and love, which will be cherished forever. Throughout her life, Rolanda embodied the essence of kindness and generosity. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit indomitable, and her love unconditional. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, and her home was always open to those in need of a warm meal or a kind word. Rolanda leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories filled with family gatherings, celebrations, and simple moments that have become treasures to those she left behind. A service to honor Rolanda's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, located at 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the flowers and expressions of love received during this difficult time. Your kindness has brought comfort and peace to our hearts.
