Rolanda Roberts

With deepest sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Rolanda Roberts, who left this world on August 7, 2026, at the age of 72. Rolanda was born on October 10, 1953, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Andrew and Joan Roberts. Her life was a testament to love, compassion, and resilience, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Rolanda dedicated her professional life to serving others. She worked tirelessly as a social worker in New Jersey, where her kindness and dedication profoundly impacted countless individuals and families. Later, she continued her life's work in Goldsboro, North Carolina, as a certified nursing assistant, providing care and comfort to those in need. Rolanda was the beloved partner of the late George Williams and found companionship and joy later in life with her special friend, Mr. Earl Artis. Her heart was full of love that she generously shared with her family. She is survived by her four children, who carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength, and her extensive family, including 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Rolanda was predeceased by her cherished parents, Andrew and Joan Roberts, and her dear grandchildren, Khyrie and Jamil Roberts. Her spirit will undoubtedly continue to guide and inspire all who knew her. A celebration of Rolanda's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM at JB Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, located at 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Rolanda are welcome to join in remembering her remarkable life and the indelible impact she made on the world. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 702 Stronach Avenue, Goldsboro, NC, in Rolanda's honor. Her warmth and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
