Rolanda passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, after bravely facing complications from a long-term illness. Born on July 14, 1963, in Syracuse, New York, Rolanda was a beacon of kindness, strength, and resilience to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rolanda was the cherished daughter of Bud and Eva Briatol, who instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and generosity. She was a beloved sister to her surviving siblings, Chris and Tina, and her sister-in-law, Jane. Rolanda's life was also enriched by the presence of her many nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy and laughter. Her family was her sanctuary, and she held them close to her heart each day.
Rolanda was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ed “Gravy” Maynes, whose memory she cherished deeply. She also joins her brothers, Gary Todd and Doug, and her sisters, Elizabeth and Brenda, in peaceful rest. Together, they form a tapestry of love and memories that will be held dearly by those left behind.
