With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rohan Rampasaud, who left us peacefully at home on July 30, 2026, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Born on October 7, 1949, in the vibrant city of Georgetown, Guyana, Rohan was the beloved son of Albert and Gita Rampasaud. He lived a life full of warmth, love, and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. Rohan was a devoted husband to his wife, Chan, with whom he shared 44 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they raised three remarkable children: Ram, Sandra, and Vidya, instilling in them the values of kindness, integrity, and compassion. His family was the center of his world, and he found great joy in being a grandfather to his four cherished grandchildren. Throughout his life, Rohan was not only a pillar of strength for his family but also a treasured friend to many. His gentle spirit and unwavering support touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rohan's legacy is one of love, resilience, and a commitment to putting others before himself. We invite you to join us in celebrating Rohan's life at a service that will be held on August 5, 2026, at 14:30, at the Little Diamond Cremation Ground, located at 131 West Coast Public Road, Georgetown. As we gather to honor his memory, we remember a man who lived fully and loved deeply.
