A dedicated student, Roger graduated from his local high school before pursuing higher education at Manhattan College. His thirst for knowledge led him further to the New Jersey Institute, where he honed his skills and prepared for a career that would leave an indelible mark. Professionally, Roger dedicated many years to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, where his work reflected his deep commitment to preserving the natural world. Later, he applied his talents at Kling Lindquist, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. In 1973, Roger's life was forever enriched when he married the love of his life, Linda. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and joy, nurturing a family that was the cornerstone of Roger's life. He was a devoted father to his sons, Christopher and Justin, and cherished the loving families they built with their wives, Kara and Ashley. Roger's legacy continues through his three beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years. Roger's life was one of service and community involvement. As a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and Toastmasters, he dedicated his time to causes that were close to his heart, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Outside of his professional and community endeavors, Roger was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, finding camaraderie and excitement in every game. He also found peace and fulfillment in gardening, cultivating beauty and tranquility that mirrored his own gentle spirit. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Renaissance Care Home and Beth, whose compassionate care provided comfort to Roger in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roger's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization whose mission resonated deeply with him.
