Roger Hadley
August 15, 1946 — July 5, 2026
Roger Hadley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. His journey began on August 15, 1946, in the small town of Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he was born to Edward Hadley and Lillian Baker Hadley.
Roger grew up in a tight-knit family, alongside his siblings Edward Jr., Steven, Peggy, and Judy, all of whom have preceded him in death. Though he was the last of his immediate family, Roger carried forward their legacy with grace, embodying the values instilled by his parents throughout his life.
A graduate of Idaho Falls High School in 1964, Roger's strong work ethic and tenacity were evident from a young age. He spent his career immersed in the industries of farming, ranching, construction, and logistics. Roger's dedication and hard work were not just evident in his career choices but were qualities he passed down to his children and grandchildren, leaving a lasting impact on future generations.
Roger was known for his quick wit, humor, and a no-nonsense attitude that endeared him to many. His kind heart and good-natured spirit made him a pillar of strength and warmth in the lives of those he touched. Family was at the core of Roger's life, and he relished every opportunity to spend time with them, whether it was camping under the stars or exploring off-road trails. His laughter and zest for life were infectious, leaving cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Hadley, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. Roger leaves behind a loving family that includes his son, David Hadley; daughters, Kirsten McCallister, Brandie Larsen, and Jennifer Dula; along with fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of his life.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Roger's wishes, allowing his family and closest friends to celebrate his life in an intimate setting. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Roger's memory to a charity of your choice.
Roger Hadley's life was a testament to the strength of character, dedication to family, and the joy of living each day to its fullest. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
