Roger Dale Allen

August 20, 1961 — July 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Dale Allen, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Roger peacefully departed this world on July 13, 2026, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by loved ones, after courageously battling ongoing health issues. He was 64 years old. Born on August 20, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, Roger was the cherished son of the late Sandra June Penney and Henry Mitchell Allen. He was also preceded in death by his dear sister, Cathy Lynn Wheeler. Roger's enduring legacy continues through his loving family: his daughters Amanda Allen and Courtni Maltos, her husband Edher Maltos, and his treasured grandchildren Natalie, Zach, Alexis, Abigayle, Levi, Ethan, Brooklynn, and Ryleigh. Roger is also survived by his brother Mike Allen and his partner Debbie Travis, his sister Becky Willie and her boyfriend Mark, and many more family members and friends who will deeply miss him. Roger was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the United States Army from August 1978 to July 1979. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career as he became an active and devoted member of the Casa View Assembly of God Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy in participating in church programs. A man of simple pleasures, Roger delighted in spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter and stories over lunch at his favorite Mexican restaurant. He was known for his warm sense of humor and his ability to bring smiles to those around him. Roger also cherished attending baseball games with his close friend Artie, where he relished the camaraderie and thrill of the sport. Roger will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering devotion to his family and faith. He leaves a lasting impact on all who knew him, and his memory will forever be a guiding light in the lives of those who loved him. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in Roger's honor. His legacy of compassion and generosity will continue through the good deeds inspired by his life. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we celebrate the life and love he shared with all of us. Roger Dale Allen's spirit lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his parents and sister, and forever watch over his beloved family.
