“ The heart of a loved one is like the sea: deep, beautiful, and forever rolling in our memories.”

The Strength He Left Behind

The Strength He Left Behind You taught us how to stand up tall, To rise with courage when we fall. Your steady hands and faithful way Still guide the choices that we make. You showed your love through all you did, In sacrifices often hid. You carried burdens without praise And cared for us in quiet ways. Though we must walk without you here, Your voice within us still feels near. The lessons planted through the years Will lead us through our grief and tears. Your laughter echoes in each room, A light that sorrow cannot consume. The stories that we proudly share Remind us you are always there. So rest now, Rodney, your journey's through, Yet part of us still walks with you. For every strength our hearts may find Is part of what you left behind.

“Loving you forever, my home run king.” Love always your loving wife!
