Rochelle Jensen

May 14, 1940 — May 29, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Rochelle Jensen, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, on May 29, 2026. Rochelle departed this world peacefully at the age of 86, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Her journey ended where it began, in the comforting embrace of her birthplace, Nampa, Idaho. Born on May 14, 1940, to Harold "Bud" and Grace Roark Beaudreau, Rochelle lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to those around her. She was predeceased by her parents and her husbands, Lyle Jensen and Austin "Buzz" Haller, who each brought unique joy and companionship to her life. Rochelle's education began at Nampa High School, where she graduated in 1958. She then continued her studies at the University of Idaho, laying the foundation for her successful career as a realtor in Oxnard, California. Her professional life was marked by integrity, diligence, and an innate ability to create connections with her clients and colleagues alike. A proud and active member of the Eastern Star, Rochelle took great joy in her community service, including her role as a worthy matron. Her contributions to the organization were numerous and impactful, and her dedication was recognized with an Australian appointment, a testament to her commitment and leadership. Rochelle is survived by her cherished children, Maurice Evan Jensen and Dana Rochelle Bosworth (Jerry), who carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Her grandchildren, Alison Jensen, Austin Vahl, and Curtis Vahl, were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and the people they have become. Though she had no great-grandchildren, her spirit and values will continue to guide her family in the years to come. Known for her warm smile and generous nature, Rochelle's home was a haven for friends and family alike. She loved to entertain, and her door was always open to those seeking comfort, laughter, or simply a listening ear. Her presence was a beacon of warmth and hospitality, traits that endeared her to all who knew her. A service to honor Rochelle's life will be held on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Summers Funeral Home, located at 3629 E Ustick Road, Meridian, ID 83646. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Eastern Star, an organization close to Rochelle's heart. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at xx Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Rochelle's final days. She faced her illness with grace and strength, surrounded by the love and care of those who meant the most to her. Rochelle Jensen leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and generosity. Her spirit will live on in the lives she touched, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
