Robin Nolan
November 2, 1951 — May 17, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Nolan of New Ipswich, who departed this life peacefully on May 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 2, 1951, in Lowell, MA, Robin was the daughter of Leonard and Alice Gravelle.
Robin shared a life with her husband, Dan, whom she married 47 years ago. Together, they built a home and family grounded in love and laughter, and they were blessed with two daughters, Erin (Patrick) Michaud and Tracy (Matt) Frisella. Robin’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Jonah and Sawyer Frisella, and Maisie, Gabriel, Kieran, and Forrest Michaud, who brought joy to her life.
As a nurse of over 50 years, Robin devoted her career to caring for others. She spent her final working years at Monadnock Community Hospital, where her colleagues and patients were touched by her warm humor, kind heart, and caring nature. Her retirement years were filled with the joy of family and quiet moments of reading, which she treasured.
Robin was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Alice Gravelle, and her grandson, Grayson Michaud. She is survived by her loving husband, daughters, grandchildren, and her sisters, Donna Gravelle and Cynthia Kingston. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
A woman of faith, Robin was an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she found a community that shared her values. Her generosity and compassion were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she had a unique ability to bring smiles to those around her.
A service to honor Robin’s life will be held on June 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 928 Gibbons Highway, Wilton, NH 03086. There, family and friends will gather to celebrate a life well-lived and to say goodbye to a remarkable woman who touched so many lives. A 4:30 PM reception will follow at Monadnock Country Club, 49 High Street, Peterborough, NH 03458
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Brigham & Women's Hospital. Their dedication and compassion provided comfort and support that made a significant difference in Robin's final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robin’s memory to organizations that support cancer research or local charities that embody her spirit of generosity and love.
