Robin Neece November 4, 1945 – March 17, 2026 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Neece, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on March 17, 2026, at the age of 80. Robin's journey began in Los Angeles, California, on November 4, 1945, where she was born into a world she would later fill with adventure, compassion, and zest. A proud alumna of Crawford High, class of 1963, Robin continued her education at San Diego State University, graduating in 1967. Her heart for service and dedication led her to a long and fulfilling career in San Diego's social services. Robin's commitment to integrity and justice shone brightly in her role as a Fraud Investigator with the District Attorney's office, from which she retired in 2002. Her work touched many lives and made a significant impact on the community she loved. Robin's adventurous spirit found a perfect match in her beloved husband, Bo. Together, they shared almost four decades of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and companionship. Their shared passion for exploration saw them actively participating in the Tierra Del Sol Four Wheel Drive Club of San Diego. Robin especially cherished the adventures of the annual Desert Safari, where she and Bo created lasting memories with friends who became family. Beyond the rugged terrains, Robin and Bo found solace on the seas, amassing over 400 days at sea, primarily aboard Holland America. These voyages were more than just travels; they were chapters in their love story, painted with sunsets and ocean breezes. Robin's life was a vibrant tapestry of celebrations. Known for her extravagant holiday displays, she brought joy and wonder to her neighborhood, reminding everyone of the magic in each season. Her zest for life was infectious, and her adventurous spirit inspired those around her to embrace every moment fully. Robin leaves behind a legacy of love and adventure through her surviving family: her devoted husband, Bo, who shared in her journeys and dreams; her cherished daughter, Max, who carries her mother's adventurous spirit and love for life; and her dear sister, Dee Dee, who was her lifelong confidante and friend. Though Robin's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever illuminate the lives of those she touched. Her adventurous heart, compassionate soul, and boundless love have left an indelible mark on this world. A celebration of Robin's life will be held at a later date, where stories of her vibrant life will be shared, and her remarkable journey will be honored. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robin's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
