It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Dunn, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on April 4, 2026, after a valiant battle with respiratory problems. Robin was born on March 9, 1969, in Dover, New Jersey, to her loving parents, Elvira and Bradley Leavitt, who have predeceased her.
Robin's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to nurturing and caring for others, both in her professional and personal life. She pursued a noble career as a nurse, dedicating her entire career to the well-being of those in her care. Her colleagues and patients alike cherished her compassionate nature and her ability to bring comfort and healing to those in need.
In May of 1993, Robin married the love of her life, Donald Dunn. Their marriage was a testament to the power of love and partnership, spanning 33 wonderful years filled with laughter, support, and shared dreams. Together, they built a loving family that became the center of Robin's world.
Robin is survived by her devoted husband Donald; her cherished daughter Heather; and her three adored grandchildren, two grandsons and a granddaughter, who brought immense joy and purpose to her life. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she found tremendous happiness in spending time with them. Whether it was crafting, tending to her garden, or simply enjoying each other's company, Robin's love for her family was evident in every moment.
Known for her huge heart and kindness, Robin touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and valued, leaving a lasting impact on her community and those around her.
Robin's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her spirit will continue to live on in the cherished memories and lessons she imparted. Her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In keeping with Robin's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life and bid farewell to a woman whose presence was a blessing to all. Her family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of choice in Robin's memory, celebrating her lifelong dedication to helping others.
As we say goodbye to Robin, we hold on to the warmth of her love, the beauty of her spirit, and the kindness she so generously shared. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
