Robin Burgener, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away at his home in Oregon City, Oregon, on September 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 4, 1959, in Oregon City, Robin was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for his generous spirit and unwavering love for his family and friends. Robin was the cherished son of Jeanine Burgener and the late Don Burgener. He shared a close and loving bond with his sister, Wendy Burgener, and was predeceased by his brother, Keven Burgener. Robin's heart was forever intertwined with that of his devoted wife, Lori Moe-Burgener, with whom he celebrated a beautiful marriage beginning on June 14, 1986. Together, they nurtured and raised their son, Sam Burgener, who was the pride and joy of Robin's life. In 1979, Robin graduated from Estacada High School, and he continued his education at Western Oregon State College, where he graduated in 1982. With a passion for craftsmanship and creativity, Robin became the proud owner of Burgener's Woodworking, where he poured his heart and soul into every piece he crafted. An avid fisherman and bow hunter, Robin had a deep love for the great outdoors. Whether casting a line into a serene river or trekking through the woods, he found solace and joy in nature's embrace. Robin also shared his passion for sports by coaching youth basketball, where he inspired and mentored young athletes with his patient guidance and encouragement. Known for his kindness and generosity, Robin lived by the motto of letting his actions speak louder than words. His gentle demeanor and genuine compassion touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. His family and friends will forever remember him for his selflessness and the love he so freely gave. A service to honor and celebrate Robin's life will be held on September 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Baptist Church in Beaver Creek, Oregon. Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to join Robin's family and friends in remembering a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Robin's memory, as a tribute to his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Robin Burgener's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in peace, embraced by the beauty of the natural world he so dearly loved.
