Roberta Prince

May 1, 2026 — May 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Roberta Prince, who departed this world far too soon on May 14, 2026. Born on May 1, 2026, in York, Nebraska, Roberta graced us with her presence for just two short weeks. Although her time with us was brief, she touched the lives of those around her deeply and left an indelible mark on our hearts. Roberta was the cherished daughter of Robert and Dorothy Prince, who lovingly welcomed her into their lives with boundless joy and anticipation. She was predeceased by her beloved grandfathers, Tom and Geoffrey Robert, who now embrace her in the comforting arms of eternity. A member of the Southwest High School community, Roberta was known for her infectious enthusiasm and zest for life. Even in her short life, she exhibited a love for excitement, particularly through her passion for theme parks—a love that promised a future filled with thrilling adventures and cherished memories. Her curiosity and eagerness to explore the world around her were evident to all who knew her. Roberta developed an early affection for creative expression through her love of crochet and cross-stitch, crafts that were tenderly passed down to her by her family. These hobbies were not just pastimes, but a way for Roberta to connect with her loved ones and express her budding creativity. Those who had the privilege of knowing Roberta will remember her for her innate love and compassion, qualities that were evident even in her infancy. Her gentle presence radiated warmth and kindness, and she treated everyone she encountered with respect and consideration. Roberta's ability to touch the hearts of those around her was a testament to her beautiful spirit and the promise of a life filled with love and kindness. Roberta's departure from this world leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Her life, though brief, is a reminder of the preciousness of time and the enduring impact of a loving soul. As her family, we find solace in the knowledge that she is now in the loving embrace of her grandfathers, watching over us with a smile. We will carry her memory in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to guide us through our days. A private family service will be held to honor Roberta's life. We invite friends and family to share their memories and support us through this difficult time as we celebrate the life of a dearly loved daughter, granddaughter, and friend. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Roberta's name to a children's charity of your choosing, to honor her love and compassion for others. Rest in peace, dear Roberta. You are forever loved and missed.
