In Loving Memory

Roberta Lee Lynn
September 26, 1936 — April 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Roberta Lee Lynn on April 1, 2026. Roberta left this world surrounded by the love and warmth of her devoted family, a fitting testament to the love she so freely gave throughout her 89 years.
Born on September 26, 1936, in Greeley, Colorado, Roberta was the cherished daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Austin) Seela. Her upbringing in a close-knit family instilled in her the values of compassion, hard work, and perseverance—qualities that she nurtured and shared generously with everyone she encountered.
During her high school years in Greeley, Roberta met Raymond Lynn, and together they forged a remarkable partnership grounded in love and mutual respect. Their nearly 60-year marriage was a beacon of devotion and strength, inspiring all who knew them. Though Raymond preceded her in death, their love story remains a testament to the enduring power of commitment.
Roberta's life was one of service and dedication, both to her family and community. She worked diligently in diverse roles, from Knott’s Berry Farm and Russell Stover’s Candy to Hewlett-Packard, the Salvation Army, and ultimately retired from K-Mart. Each position she held was marked by her unwavering work ethic and kindness.
Her spiritual journey was enriched by her involvement with Alive Church in Tucson, AZ, where she shared worship, fellowship, and friendship. The community there was a source of great joy and comfort, deepening her faith and connection to others.
Roberta's hands were never idle; they were constantly creating, comforting, and caring. She took great pleasure in crocheting baby blankets, each stitch infused with love and warmth, for every new family member and community addition. An avid reader, she delighted in books and found solace and inspiration in her Bible, reflecting her deep and abiding faith.
Her family was her greatest joy and most cherished legacy. She is survived by her loving children, Bruce M. (Danett) Lynn, Lori A. Nunes, and Karen (Roger) Quenan, as well as her devoted daughter-in-law, Penny Lynn. She leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Each member of her family carries forward her legacy of love, faith, and generosity.
Roberta was also preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Raymond, her son Kenny Lynn, grandson Alan Quenan, great-granddaughter Ashley Glover, and great-great-granddaughter Harper Irene Martinez-Burnett. Though they have gone before her, they remain forever in her heart.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Roberta’s life, with services to be announced at a later date. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories of Roberta’s gentle spirit, generous heart, and her unwavering support. She will be deeply missed, but the warmth of her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
Roberta Lee Lynn’s life was a testament to love, faith, and selfless giving. She touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion, and her memory will be treasured by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
