Roberta Lee Lynn

September 26, 1936 — April 1, 2026

It is with a profound sense of loss and a celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Roberta Lee Lynn, who departed this world peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Roberta was born on September 26, 1936, in Greeley, Colorado, to Robert and Evelyn (Austin) Seela. Her life, spanning nearly 90 remarkable years, was a tapestry woven with love, faith, and enduring kindness. Roberta's upbringing in a close-knit family instilled in her values of compassion, hard work, and perseverance, qualities that defined her character and guided her throughout her life. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, cherished for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering support for those she loved. At a young age, Roberta met Raymond Lynn, the love of her life, while attending high school in Greeley. Their deep bond blossomed into a loving partnership filled with mutual respect and devotion that lasted for nearly 60 years until Raymond's passing. Together, they built a family rooted in love and togetherness. Roberta's career was as diverse as it was fulfilling. She worked at Knott's Berry Farm, a Family Furniture Store, Hewlett-Packard, and the Salvation Army before retiring from K-Mart. Each role she took on was met with dedication and a strong work ethic, and she formed lasting friendships along the way. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Roberta attended Alive Church in Tucson, AZ, with her daughter and son-in-law, where she found joy in worship, fellowship, and the companionship of her church community. Her spiritual journey was a source of comfort and strength, and she often found solace and inspiration in reading the Bible. Roberta’s hands were rarely still, as she found joy in crocheting baby blankets for each new addition to her family and community. An avid reader, she lost herself in the pages of books, finding adventure and learning within their covers. Though she faced the heartache of losing her loving husband Raymond, her parents Robert and Evelyn, her son Kenny Lynn, grandson Alan Quenan, great-granddaughter Ashley Glover, and great-great-granddaughter Harper Irene Martinez-Burnett, Roberta's heart remained full and open, ready to embrace and cherish the family who survive her. She leaves behind her children Bruce M (Danett) Lynn, Lori A Nunes, Karen R. (Roger) Quenan, daughter-in-law Penny Lynn; 18 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. Her legacy of love will endure through them all. Roberta touched many lives with her warmth and compassion, and her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy is one of love, faith, and selfless giving, and she will be deeply missed. Her spirit will remain in our hearts forever, a guiding light of love and kindness. In honoring Roberta’s wishes, services will be held at a later date. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support, condolences, and shared memories during this time of sorrow and remembrance.
