Robert Sean Gammel, known affectionately as Sean, passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 47. Born on September 10, 1978, in Victorville, California, Sean brought with him a vibrant spirit and a heart full of generosity that touched everyone he encountered. Sean was the beloved son of Colleen Webb and Robert Earl Gammel. He shared a close bond with his brother, Matthew Gammel, and his fiancée, Sandy Lewis. Sean was a cherished uncle to his nephews, Joshua and Moses Pena, and his nieces, Hannah Grace Gammel and Layla Singleton. He leaves behind a loving extended family, including Aunt Joni and Uncle Steve, Aunt Cindy and Uncle Eugene, and many dear cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts. Throughout his life, Sean was known for his kindness and selflessness. He truly had a heart of gold and was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. His warmth and compassion were as steady and strong as the roofs he built in his years as a dedicated roofer. Sean's passion for life extended to his love of college football and his unwavering support for the New Orleans Saints. He was a devoted fan who embraced the team's rallying cry, "Who Dat!" with enthusiasm and joy. He attended W.Monroe H.S. & graduated with a GED from local community college . Sean's journey through life was marked by perseverance and a deep love for his family and friends. Sean was predeceased by several beloved family members, including L.E. White, Mary Nell Loe White, Delores Hood, and Robert Gammel. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. A celebration of Sean's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Aulds Funeral Home, located at 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love, generosity, and resilience. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sean's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his legacy of giving and kindness. Sean Gammel's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those he touched.
