It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert M. Fierros, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on August 15, 2026. Born in Mexico on November 29, 1950, Robert's vibrant life was a testament to his enduring spirit and love for those around him. Robert was a son of the soil, deeply rooted in his heritage. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a love for the land, which he carried throughout his life. Predeceased by his beloved family members Jose, Richard, and Anita Fierros, Robert now joins them in eternal rest. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Rosa Fierros, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. Together, they built a loving family, blessed with children who grew up with their father's humor, love, and unwavering support. Robert was also the proud grandfather of four grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. In his free time, Robert found solace in the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, often spending tranquil hours by the water, surrounded by the beauty of nature. His love for animals and the simple pleasures of tending to them, along with his fondness for being outside, were reflections of his gentle and nurturing soul. Robert will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor and the warmth he brought into every room. His loving and supportive nature was a source of strength for all who knew him. He embraced life with open arms and a joyful heart, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. A service to honor Robert's life will be held on August 26, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Grand Legacy Funeral located at 8833 Scobee Street, Bakersfield, California 93311. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to a charity of your choice. Robert will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. As his family lovingly expresses, he will be "Forever in our hearts."
