Robert Lynn Beck
November 9, 1956 — March 10, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Lynn Beck, a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend. Robert peacefully departed this world on March 10, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 9, 1956, in Cyril, Oklahoma, Robert was a beacon of strength and creativity, whose life was a testament to resilience, love, and artistry.
Robert was the cherished son of the late William "Bill" Beck and Joyce Beck (Chance), whose nurturing spirits undoubtedly shaped the compassionate and talented man he became. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Everett Beck, whose memories he held dear.
A true "jack of all trades," Robert was a man of many talents. His hands, often covered in engine grease or dust from his latest project, were skilled in the art of construction and automotive repair. He found joy in building, crafting, and bringing his ideas to life. But Robert's talents didn't stop at the tangible; he was also a poet at heart. His words, whether penned on paper or whispered in verse, painted vivid pictures of his love for life, family, and the natural world.
Robert's passion for the outdoors was as vast as the Oklahoma sky he grew up under. He found solace in fishing, casting lines into still waters while sharing stories with those he loved. Swimming was another cherished pastime, where he would often be seen gliding through the water, a picture of grace and tranquility. His artistic soul was evident in the sketches and drawings he left behind, each piece a window into his imaginative mind.
In 1977, Robert married Cindy Maddan, and together they welcomed a daughter, beginning his journey into fatherhood. Though their paths eventually diverged, Robert's commitment to his family remained steadfast. He later found love again with Lynn, with whom he shared a beautiful life and welcomed a daughter and a son. His children, Racheal Rothgeb, Jennifer Boone (Matt Boone), and Michael Beck (Jenna Beck), were the pride and joy of his life, along with his grandchildren, who were blessed to know his gentle love and wisdom.
Robert's legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His life will be celebrated on April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM, where we will gather to honor his memory and the indelible mark he left on each of us. As we remember Robert, let us carry forward his love of life and his ability to find beauty in the simplest of moments.
In the words of his own poetry, "In the quiet of the night, the stars whisper tales of love and laughter, and there, I'll always be."
Rest in peace, dear Robert. You will forever be cherished in our hearts.
