Born on June 6, 1972, in the serene town of Big Rapids, MI, Robert was a beacon of warmth and kindness, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Robert was the beloved son of Barbara Holleman and the late Harvey Holleman. His father, Harvey, and brother, Charles Holleman, predeceased him and now welcome him into their eternal embrace. He leaves behind his cherished mother, Barbara, and his devoted brothers, Bill, Kenneth, Alan, and Ron Holleman. Robert's legacy lives on through his beloved children, Tyler Lawnichak, Makayla Quick, Emily Quick, Jordan Holleman, and Xiandra Quick, as well as his four treasured grandchildren, who will carry forward the light he brought into the world.
A proud graduate of Mt. Juliet High School, class of 1991, Robert was known for his dedication and hard work. For over 15 years, he was a cherished employee at Kroger's, where his infectious smile and generous spirit left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. He was not only an exemplary employee but also a loyal friend and a devoted father, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Music was Robert's lifelong passion, a love that began in childhood and continued to be a source of joy throughout his life. He was a talented musician, and his melodies brought happiness to many. His fascination with classic cars, especially Mustangs, was a trait he lovingly passed down to his children and grandchildren. His extensive Hot Wheels collection, a testament to his enduring love for cars, will be cherished by his grandchildren for generations to come, he also loved the Detroit Lions!
Robert was a man of remarkable character, known for his ability to bring joy and laughter even in the midst of his own struggles. His silly jokes and playful antics brought smiles to countless faces, and his selfless nature was an inspiration to all who knew him. He never hesitated to offer support and kindness, embodying the true spirit of compassion.
A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on July 1, 2026, at Old Hickory Lake, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and the profound impact he had on their lives.
