It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Robert Lee (Rob) Harbour, who departed this life on October 1, 2026, at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 26, 1966, in Houston, Texas, Rob was a cherished son, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a steadfast friend. Robert was the beloved son of Anthony Williams and Mary Harbour, who predeceased him and left an indelible mark on his life. Raised in a home filled with love and encouragement, Rob grew up in Houston, where he graduated from Kashmere Senior High. His upbringing and education laid the foundation for a life characterized by resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. On March 4, 2006, Rob married his high school sweetheart, Maranda Harbour, in Houston, Texas. Their union was a testament to enduring love, and together they built a life filled with joy and shared dreams. Rob was a devoted father to their three beautiful children: Robert Lee Harbour Jr., Sarah Harbour, and Roslyn Harbour. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Rob is survived by his beloved wife, Maranda, his children, and his siblings: James Harbour, Anthony Julius William III, Yvette Gilbert, and Renee Bains. He also leaves behind a host of relatives, cousins, and friends who were touched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit. Though he had no grandchildren, his legacy will live on through those who knew and loved him. Throughout his life, Rob demonstrated immense strength and courage, qualities that were especially evident during his battle with cancer. His perseverance and positivity inspired all who knew him, and he faced each challenge with grace and dignity. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to St. Luke's Methodists and Clay and Clay Funeral Home, as well as to everyone who offered prayers and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion have provided great comfort. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Rob’s memory. This gesture would honor his spirit of giving and his commitment to making the world a better place.
