It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert L. Price, who departed this world on February 13, 2026, just one day shy of his 80th birthday. Born on February 14, 1946, in Martinsville, Virginia, Robert was a cherished son to the late James Price and Sarah Hairston. His life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and achievement, woven together with the threads of family, passion, and community service. Robert lived a life filled with purpose and success. In 1970, he earned his dual license as a Master Barber and Cosmetologist, setting the stage for a remarkable career that spanned over four decades. As an entrepreneur, Robert founded a thriving chain of True Dream salons and Respect for Life Barbershops, where he not only honed his craft but also touched countless lives with his warm smile and exceptional skill. Robert's family was the cornerstone of his existence. He was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra Price, and their daughter, Tia Price, who he now joins in eternal rest. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted children: Mellissa, Azeenauddina, Samiyah, Ishaq, Damon, and Aamir Price. His legacy is further carried on by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. Robert passed away peacefully in Ridgeway, Virginia, surrounded by his children. His journey was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those he cherished most. A celebration of Robert's life will be held on February 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel, located at 301 Fayette Street, Martinsville, VA. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Robert touched are invited to join in honoring his incredible life and lasting legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Robert L. Price. This gesture will continue his legacy of generosity and love for the community. Robert L. Price will be remembered for his kindness, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his unwavering dedication to family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
