In Loving Memory of Robert Kenneth Bejarano It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Kenneth Bejarano, a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on March 28, 1967, in Sacramento, Robert departed this world on September 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Robert was the cherished son of Fred Bejarano and Trudy Murray. Although Fred and his grandmother, Juanita Meza, preceded him in death, Robert's memory will continue to live on through the lives he touched. He is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle Bejarano, to whom he was married on February 11, 1995, in Sacramento. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years filled with laughter, love, and two beautiful children—Marissa Cedeno and Robert Bejarano Jr. Robert's pride and joy extended to his granddaughter, Kya Michelle Bejarano, who brought immense happiness into his life. A dedicated family man, Robert was also a loving brother to Fred Bejarano Jr, Denise Bejarano, Richard Bejarano, Michele Deugaw, Stephen Connor, and Roque Bejarano. He was a constant source of support and joy for his family, always making time to share his infectious smile and warm heart with those he loved dearly. In 2006, Robert earned his Painters Apprenticeship Certification and later achieved his Painters Journeyman License. His career as a Journeyman Painter from 2003 to 2026 was marked by a commitment to excellence and craftsmanship. Robert was not only a skilled artisan but also a mentor to many apprentices and laborers, imparting his knowledge and passion for the trade. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and took great pride in his work and co-workers. Beyond his professional life, Robert was an active member of his neighborhood community group, contributing to the vibrant spirit of his community. He was an avid sports enthusiast, passionately supporting the Oakland A's, Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Kings, and San Jose Sharks. Robert's love for sports was infectious, and he could often be found cheering with excitement for his favorite teams. Robert's interests extended to a love for the ocean, where he found peace and joy. He cherished trips to Dillon and Pacifica beaches and enjoyed visits to Catalina Island. In recent years, he discovered a talent for karaoke, delighting friends and family with his renditions of Tom Petty songs. Known for his radiant smile and witty humor, Robert was a man of deep sensitivity and compassion. His love for his wife, children, and granddaughter was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A service to honor Robert's life will be held on September 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center, located at 6509 Fruitridge Road. A viewing and rosary will take place that evening, with a mass to be held at 2:00 p.m. on September 23 at the same location. Robert Kenneth Bejarano will forever be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
