In loving memory of Robert Kellett, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert was born on November 16, 1930, in Duluth, Minnesota, and he peacefully departed this life on October 5, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice Care in Rodgers, Arkansas. Robert was the son of the late Albert and Ruby Kellett. He was a graduate of Hermantown High School in Hermantown, Minnesota in 1949. In 1950, Robert married Mary Horak of Duluth, Minnesota, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. He was employed by Western Electric, and transferred to their facility in Millard, Nebraska in 1959, settling in nearby Papillion, Nebraska. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Robert built a fulfilling career as a production supervisor for Western Electric. He furthered his education at Omaha University (now the University of Nebraska - Omaha), earning his bachelor's degree in 1968. He retired from Western Electric in 1985, and in 1991 he and Mary moved to Bella Vista, AK to build their retirement home. Robert loved aviation and flying. While living in Minnesota, he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Trips to the Oshkosh Fly-In were an annual event and he was an active member of the Ozark Military Museum where he worked on restoring vintage aircraft. Robert was also an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed taking walks, fishing and hunting. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary.
