In Loving Memory

Robert Joseph Hall
March 31, 1957 — May 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Hall, who departed from this world on May 7, 2026, at the age of 69. His courageous battle with cancer ended peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Born on March 31, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan, Robert was the cherished son of the late Charles Edgar Hall and LeMaine Marie (Sharon) Hall. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and dear friend, Dawn Marie Fisher, the mother of his children. Robert's legacy is lovingly carried forward by his devoted children: daughters Lisa Hall and Amy Brubacher, and son David Hall. He was a proud and doting grandfather to Noah, Nicholas Jimenez, and Braiden Brubacher. His long-time partner and soulmate, Suzan Hubarth, was a constant source of joy and companionship in his life.
Robert was a graduate of Waterford Township High School, where he first developed his love for the great outdoors, a passion that he carried throughout his life. Whether it was hiking through the woods, casting a line into a serene lake, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Robert found solace and joy in the world around him. His handyman skills were unmatched, and he took great pride in being able to fix anything that needed mending, often lending a helping hand to friends and neighbors.
Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, Robert had an uncanny ability to lift the spirits of those around him. He was always ready to share a funny joke, brightening even the darkest of days with his humor and warmth. His love for music was profound, often filling his home with melodies that echoed his upbeat and vibrant spirit.
A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on May 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM at The River Church, located at 3411 Airport Rd., Waterford, Michigan. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Robert touched are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man whose presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The River Church, an organization close to Robert's heart. These contributions will help continue the community support that Robert valued so deeply.
Though Robert’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will forever be a part of the many lives he enriched. His memory will live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the stories shared by his children, and the love that he so freely gave to all who knew him. As we say goodbye, we honor not only the man Robert Hall was but the legacy of love, laughter, and kindness he leaves behind.
