Robert J. Pagliarulo

July 13, 1951 — March 7, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Robert J. Pagliarulo, a cherished brother, cousin, and friend, who departed this world on March 7, 2026, after a determined struggle. Robert was born on July 13, 1951, in the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts, a place that would shape his love for community and kinship. Robert was the beloved son of Margaret E. and Alexander L. Pagliarulo, who predeceased him but whose values and spirit he carried forward. He leaves behind a devoted family, including his sister, Mary of Florida, and his brother, Mark of North Carolina. His cousin, Theresa Hough, and her husband, Joseph, along with countless friends who were more like family, also mourn his loss. A proud graduate of Brighton High School in Boston, Robert dedicated many years of his life to working as a housekeeper at the Airport Hilton Hotel. There, he served with integrity and pride, always wearing a smile that brightened the days of colleagues and guests alike. As a proud member of SEIU Local 615, Robert exemplified the values of hard work and camaraderie that defined his life. Robert's commitment to service extended beyond his professional life. As an active member of the Knights of Columbus, he served as an officer in his Council, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to faith and community. His fellow knights will remember him as a leader who brought warmth and humor to every gathering. Perhaps one of Robert's most endearing qualities was his love for Boston sports. Whether cheering from the stands or discussing the latest game with friends, his enthusiasm was infectious. His passion for life extended to his love of travel, often setting off on spontaneous adventures that would become treasured stories shared with loved ones. His remarkable memory for dates and places made him the family's historian, a keeper of cherished memories that will continue to inspire. Robert was known for his quick wit and gentle soul, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. His kindness knew no bounds, and those fortunate enough to call him a friend knew they had a companion for life. His devotion extended to those who had passed, as he faithfully honored the memory of deceased friends and relatives with visits to their resting places on special dates. Though Robert did not have grandchildren, his legacy is deeply etched in the hearts of his surviving family and the many friends who became his extended family. His life was a testament to the power of kindness, loyalty, and the strength of the human spirit. In celebrating Robert's life, we remember a man whose presence brought joy, laughter, and love to all who knew him. As we bid farewell, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to walk beside us, guiding us with the warmth and wisdom he so generously shared. A memorial service to honor Robert's life will be held at a later date, allowing those who loved him the opportunity to gather and celebrate the remarkable journey of a truly extraordinary man. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Robert's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others. Robert J. Pagliarulo, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Your legacy of love and laughter will forever linger in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend.
