Robert "Bobby" Heck Jr

Bobby Heck of Mandan ND, took his last ride on August 25th, 2026. He was born on August 17th,1960, he lived his life with fierce independence, a big heart, and deep loyalty to the people he cared about. He was a proud Harley Davidson rider, the kind who didn’t just ride for the road, but for the freedom, peace, the brotherhood, and the stories that came with it. His Harley wasn’t just a hobby; it was part of who he was. Above all else, he loved his three girls and his grandchildren. They were the center of his world, his favorite bragging rights, and the joy he carried with him everywhere he went. Every friend he had, he would always talk about his girls and how proud he was of them. He cherished the friends who became family along the way, the ones who shared miles, memories, and laughter with him. He will be remembered for his generosity, his stubbornness, his heart of gold, his realness, his loyalty to family and friends, if anyone needed his help, no matter the time or how sick he felt, he never said no and would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need and the way he showed love in the ways he knew how. Bobby is survived by his daughters Laci Goetz, Kayla Heck, and Shelby Sargent; his sisters Betty Baker, Rose Wickham, Mary Thompson, and Dorothy Gillock; his grandchildren Austin Schmidt (Makayla Doll), Landon Adams, Emma Sargent, Alayna Dean; his great‑grandchild Nova Lang; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends including Sarah Bergstad. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Irene Heck, his sister Karen Stastny, his brother Marty Hagel, and his nephews Tyler Baker and Cody Wickham, and many friends and family members.
