Robert Gransky
February 16, 1958 — July 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Gransky, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Robert left this world on July 8, 2026, at the age of 68. He was born on February 16, 1958, in New Jersey to the late Edward and Martha Gransky. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 35 years, Cynthia Gransky, and his beloved sister, Linda Deemer.
A life-long learner and dedicated individual, Robert served his country with honor in the US Army for four years. He then went on to build a successful career at Coca-Cola, where he served as the maintenance manager. His dedication and loyalty were evident not only in his work but also in his steadfast commitment to drinking only Coke, a testament to the friendships and bonds he formed there.
Robert's life was enriched by his love for Alabama Football, a passion that was as vibrant as his personality. His enthusiastic "Roll Tide" cheers were infamous throughout his neighborhood and a true reflection of his spirited nature. He was also a talented carpenter and a creative soul who delighted in crafting his own salsa and preparing beet eggs every Easter. His love for travel, particularly to the beach with family, created fond memories that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to share in those moments.
Above all, Robert's life was defined by his love for his family. He was a devoted father to his son, Justin Gransky, and his wife, Britney, and their children, Max, Henry, Addyson, and Lydia. He also leaves behind his daughter, Bree Brown, and her husband, Carter, along with their children, Elijah and Riley. His surviving siblings, Lillian Gransky, Martin Gransky, and Carol Shoudt, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will deeply miss his humor and kindness.
Robert was a man of integrity and heart, who never missed a choir concert, football game, or birthday. His kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was always ready with a helping hand, a testament to his unwavering compassion and community spirit.
Robert's family will be receiving friends on July 23, 2026, between 1 pm - 3 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home, located at 2305 North Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, Alabama 35810. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor a man who made a difference in so many lives.
As we remember Robert, we hold close to our hearts a special message: "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day." May we find comfort in knowing that Robert's spirit will continue to walk with us, guiding us with his love and laughter.
