He graduated from Edison High School with a passion for learning and a spirit of curiosity that led him to the University of Florida. His education provided a strong foundation for a life characterized by service, dedication, and discovery. In the crucible of World War II, Robert served his country with distinction as a member of the Army Airforce. His courage and commitment during those tumultuous times were a testament to his character and a source of great pride for his family and community. Following his military service, Robert embarked on a distinguished career with Eastern Airlines. His tenure as a pilot was marked by professionalism and a deep love for the skies, culminating in his retirement as a captain in 1982.
