November 19, 1938 — March 10, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Frederick, who departed this world on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 19, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, Robert graced this world for 87 years, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to those he loved and those he served. Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Darlene, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He is also reunited in peace with his dear siblings, brother Jack Frederick, brother Rev. Joe Frederick, and sister Elizabeth Nabor. Robert is survived by his devoted sister, Mary Strittmatter, and his cherished partner, Sue LaFramboise, whose companionship brought joy and warmth to his later years. A proud father, Robert leaves behind his son Jim and daughter Cheryl Hagfors (Pat Boyle), each of whom carries forward his enduring spirit and values. He was a doting grandfather to Ryan (Natalie), Dani, Cody (Rebecca), Nick, and Lucius (Kal), and a great-grandfather to Ford, Daniel, and Mack, who were all blessed to know the love and wisdom of their Grandpa Bob. Robert dedicated 35 years to educating young minds as a Social Studies teacher at South Milwaukee High School. His passion for teaching was matched only by his commitment to his students, many of whom he inspired to reach their fullest potential. Beyond the classroom, Robert shaped the lives of many as a coach for the school's softball and debate teams. His outstanding contributions to these programs earned him a well-deserved place in the Wisconsin State Hall of Fame, a testament to his talent and dedication. When he wasn't in the classroom or on the field, Robert found peace and joy in the great outdoors. An avid fisherman and golfer, he often spent serene days casting his line into Wisconsin's lakes or perfecting his swing on the golf course, always appreciating the simple beauty of nature. A celebration of Robert's life will be held on May 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Lake Arrowhead Lodge, located at 1195 Apache Ln, Nekoosa, WI, 54457. Family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing Robert are invited to join in honoring his remarkable life, sharing memories, and finding solace in the love he left behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of generosity and his lifelong commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Robert Frederick lived a life defined by love, service, and integrity. His legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories and the lessons he imparted, grateful for the profound impact he had on our lives. May he rest in eternal peace.
