In Loving Memory

Robert Edmond Baisley
December 23, 1963 — April 23, 2026
It is with profound sadness and tender remembrance that we announce the passing of Robert Edmond Baisley, affectionately known as Bob, who left this world peacefully on April 23, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on December 23, 1963, in Freeport, New York, Bob was a beacon of warmth and kindness whose presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bob was the beloved son of Edmond Robert Baisley and Margaret Mary (Sculti) Baisley. Though he has now joined his mother, Margaret, his sister Bernadette Baisley, his stepbrother Ricky Frey, and his brother-in-law Terrall Tolbert in eternal rest, his spirit continues to shine brightly through the loving family he leaves behind.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Margo Moore Baisley, whom he married on January 30, 1999. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, raising their cherished daughter, Margaret Baisley, who was the pride and joy of his life. His legacy endures through his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jim Deaton, sisters-in-law Maschelle McBride, Shannon Chandler, Karen Wall and husband Brandon, Julie Tolbert, brother-in-law Richard Chandler, and a host of cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graduate of Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, Bob pursued higher education at the University of Texas, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Economics. His career was a seamless blend of his passion for cars and his expertise in finance. Starting his journey at a Corvette dealership in Arlington, he later joined the General Motors assembly plant during college summers. Bob's professional path led him to GMAC, then to Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, and finally to GM Financial, where he devoted the last five years of his career before retiring in 2024.
Bob was an active and dedicated member of RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, where he served faithfully in the Children's Ministry and on the Safety Team. His commitment to his community extended to his role on the Hawthorne Estates Homeowners Association board, where he often took it upon himself to maintain the neighborhood's charm and order.
An avid car enthusiast, Bob's love for automobiles was unparalleled. He took great pleasure in helping others find the perfect car, always ensuring they received the best deal. Bob was also a fervent supporter of the San Francisco 49ers, scheduling his life around their games during football season.
Those who knew Bob will remember him as a man of unwavering integrity and humor. He was deeply committed to taking care of his family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors, always striving to be the man God called him to be. His quick wit and sense of humor brought joy and laughter to every situation, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on May 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at RockPointe Church, Parker Square Campus, located at 500 Parker Square Road, Flower Mound, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Bob Baisley Memorial Fund at RockPointe Church, which can be accessed at https://rockpointe.tpsdb.com/Give/bob-baisley-memorial-fund.
As we gather to honor Bob's remarkable life, we hold onto the precious memories and the enduring love he imparted. He is forever in our hearts, and his legacy of kindness, humor, and devotion will continue to inspire us all.
