With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Duerell Beasley, who left us on July 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with various health issues. Born in Richmond, California, on November 30, 1955, Robert was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the honor of knowing him.
Robert was the cherished son of Robert and Catherine Beasley, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karole, with whom he shared 13 wonderful years of marriage. Together, Robert and Karole traveled across the United States, creating memories from coast to coast, each journey deepening the bond they held dear.
A dedicated family man, Robert leaves behind his loving daughter Kristine and her husband Billy, his son Paul Robert Beasley, and cherished stepsons Charlie Royall and his wife Amber, and Kelly Royall and his wife Samantha. His legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Robert is also survived by his brothers, Duane Beasley and John Beasley, and his sisters Terry Salazar and Donna, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories.
Robert's early life was marked by his academic accomplishments, having graduated as a Distinguished Honor Graduate from the police academy in Riverside, California. His career was a testament to his dedication and service to others, traits that were evident in every aspect of his life.
Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Robert had an unparalleled ability to make everyone feel welcome. He possessed a servant's heart, always ready to lend a hand or offer support. His infamous brownies, a favorite among family and friends, were just one of the many ways he shared his love and warmth.
A celebration of Robert's life will take place on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the McNeil Baptist Church, located at 14304 FM 1322, Luling, Texas 78648. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his remarkable life and the indelible mark he left on everyone he met.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Robert's memory to McNeil Baptist Church, a place that held great significance in his life.
Robert Duerell Beasley will be remembered for his boundless love, his humor, and the genuine kindness that touched the lives of so many. While our hearts ache with his loss, we find comfort in knowing his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
