Robert passed away peacefully at his home in the comforting presence of his family and loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Born on February 5, 1959, in Syracuse, New York, Robert was the cherished son of John and Grace Corsette. From a young age, Robert exemplified a spirit of curiosity and compassion, traits that would define his character throughout his life. He grew up with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, a passion he nurtured and shared with all who knew him. In 1987, Robert married the love of his life, Mary, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of 35 years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, characterized by mutual respect, unwavering support, and shared dreams. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and love, a true sanctuary for their family. Robert was a devoted father to his two children, Andrew and Lisa. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and was a guiding light in their lives, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. His role as a father was one of his greatest joys, and he embraced it with heart and soul. The joy of being a grandfather was a gift Robert treasured deeply. He was a doting grandfather to Ben and Larry, who brought him endless delight and happiness. He relished every moment spent with them, imparting lessons, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his beloved children, Andrew and Lisa; and his cherished grandchildren, Ben and Larry. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived—a life rich with love, laughter, and the joy of family. While we grieve the loss of Robert, we find comfort in knowing his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His kindness, strength, and unwavering optimism were a beacon of light to all who were fortunate to know him. In accordance with his family's wishes, a private funeral service will be held on April 1, 2026, where those closest to him will gather to honor and celebrate his remarkable life. Though Robert may no longer walk this earth, his spirit remains forever with us. His memory will be cherished and his legacy honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye, we hold him close in our hearts, eternally grateful for the time we shared and the love he gave so freely.
