Born on September 15, 1977, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Robert was a cherished son and step son to the late Ira Brooks Johnson and Howard Brooks, and Ernest Johnson. a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. Robert was predeceased by his loving parents, Ira Brooks Johnson and Howard Brooks, as well as his supportive stepfather, Ernest Johnson. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife Michelle Brooks; his children, Ryley, Jaydan, Howard, and Tayanah, who were the light of his life; and his brothers Richard and Howard Brooks. A man of extraordinary warmth and humor, Robert had a unique ability to bring joy to everyone around him. His life was a testament to the power of love and laughter, as he unfailingly brought smiles to those he encountered. Whether through his uncoordinated but joyful dancing or his infectious laughter, Robert's presence was a gift that will be dearly missed. Robert's greatest joy was his family. He was a dedicated father who relished every moment spent with his children, whether playing video games, sharing laughter, or joining in spontaneous sing-alongs and dance-offs.
