Robert "Bobby" Lynn Myers, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was called home on August 10, 2026. Born on May 2, 1962, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Bobby was a man whose love for life and family was as deep as his roots in his cherished hometown. Bobby was the eldest son of seven children born to Robert Earl Myers and Juanita Menard Myers. He is now reunited with his father in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. His mother, Juanita, survives him, along with his wife, Allison Myers, who remained his best friend. Bobby was a proud father to Joshua Myers, Luke Myers, and Ashley Adams, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. His legacy continues through his four cherished grandchildren: Isaac Myers, Ethan Patterson, Macy Adams, and Braden Adams, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Bobby was a devoted brother, sharing unbreakable sibling bonds with Michele Abshire (Gardy), Scott Myers, Ron Myers (Dianne), Jason Myers, Nicole Baker (Dave), and Heather Devey (Phil). Among his closest friends was Doug Nikko, with whom he shared countless memories and adventures. Bobby's life was marked by his unwavering spirit and passion for the New Orleans Saints. He was, undeniably, the biggest fan anyone could ever know. Bobby's unwaivering faith in his Catholic upbringing gives us great comfort in knowing that he was welcomed home by the saints in heaven. Despite facing significant health challenges, including battling cancer and the aftereffects of a stroke, Bobby was a fighter. His courage and determination inspired everyone around him, revealing the depth of his character and the strength of his spirit. A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dianne Myers, who devotedly cared for Bobby during the last year of his life, and to Ron Myers, who opened his home to provide comfort and support. Their love and dedication were blessings to Bobby and the entire family. Special gratitude is also extended to his mother, Juanita, who cared for him for over thirty years throughout his struggles. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Bobby's memory be made to a charity of your choice, honoring the giving spirit that Bobby embodied throughout his life. Though Bobby's journey on earth has ended, his spirit and love will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of being part of his life.
